You can join talkXtra now by registering on line or call customer service 0800 901 2973 during office hours, Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm or Sat 9am to 5pm. Your account card, which has all the information you need to make a call, will be posted to you within 5 working days.

TalkXtra is a prepaid service therefore you do not receive a bill from us.
You can view your call charges on line, just log into your account, select Call History and this will show you the calls made and the cost.
Yes. We consider this to be very important. Each time you make a call you will be told your balance, and you can also see your financial history on line, just log into your account and select 'financial history'.
You must have credit in your account to make a call with talkXtra. Instructions on how to make a call are printed on your account card.
No, but you do need to dial one of our access numbers on your account card.
When you complete a successful call and want to make a follow on call, just press # # and dial your destination.
We also offer you 'Speedy Access'. This must only be used from a telephone where only one talkXtra account is going to be used - Your talkXtra account. Speedy access allows you to register your telephone number to your account, so when our access number is dialled from that telephone number, any costs will be charged to your account without having to enter your account & PIN number.
To activate Speedy Access, Press *3 after you enter your Account Number and PIN number, from the telephone you wish to save. You will not have to re-enter these each time you make a call from that number. To remove Speedy Access, press *4 after dialling a talkXtra access number. You can also set this up online, log into your account and select 'Speedy Access' and follow instructions.
Yes, We have a separate access number for Payphone access, Dial 0800 901 xxxx. TalkXtra will charge you a surcharge to pay the Payphone provider.
Yes. Your Mobile Service Provider (MSP) will charge you for using their service, depending on which access number you dial.
No, TalkXtra do not charge any daily charges, or talkXtra do not expire your card when you have credit on it. We do make accounts that have not been used for over 6 months 'Dormant' and transfer your money to a suspense account. Your money will be transferred back to your account on receipt of your instructions.
Yes, you can cancel your account at any time. We charge an administration fee of £20 for any refunds we make.
Yes, however there restrictions. We can provide a copy of your call history going back 90 days on demand, going back longer than this will need to be ordered, the furthest back we can go is 2 years. This can take up to 15 working days. We charge £20 for a copy of your call history, therefore we do recommend you check your call history regularly, on line, to avoid this charge.
